History
R G INVESTIGATIONS (UK) LIMITED has been incorporated since 25/10/1996.
Prior to that it was a partnership for six years. Our work is conducted throughout all areas in the British Isles and abroad.
We currently act for most of the large insurance companies in the U.K. and specialise in insurance claims investigations, conducted to the highest possible standard.
The Company headquarters based in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire was purchased by the Company in 1999.
The offices are located on three floors and are staffed by a dedicated team of Investigators, Claims Managers and General Clerks with considerable insurance experience.
As well as our major insurance clients, our client base also includes solicitors, major retailers, international companies and others.
Whilst the nature of our business dictates that we are involved in fieldwork nationally, all corporate decision making, record keeping and communication is dealt with at our head office in Cheadle Hulme.
As we have developed as a company over the years, we have become increasingly sophisticated in our methodology and have acquired a wide range of expertise both in-house and through strategic relationships with other companies. In particular, we have important strategic relationships with solicitors to assist us generally and specifically with our debt recovery service where appropriate.
We specialise in investigating insurance claims and therefore our service is not diluted by other concerns, as it is our stock in trade.
One unique feature of our service is that all enquiries are closely supervised by Claims Analysts based at our Head Office. We do not simply rely on the efforts of our field agents, as all reports are supplemented with our expert guidance and intensive desktop enquiries.
We have a unique methodology for investigating contrived accidents and this is supplemented by our own database system (LYNX).
We have designed our company to provide solutions to all our client’s investigative requirements and therefore have access to all manner of technical expertise, for example, Home Office trained Forensic Vehicle Examiners to help identify staged accidents and the antecedent history of vehicles.
We hope to provide a `one stop shop’ for insurers.
We have our own best practice policy to enforce our high standards of quality control.
We also pride ourselves on speed of service. Our average turnaround time for investigations is 10 working days from receipt of instruction to providing a complete report.
We offer training to clients, from the level of claims handler to senior management. Much of our training is offered free of charge in the interests of forging a successful partnership.
Company Activities
We offer a professional and effective service for the investigation of insurance claims, the tracing of absconders and provision of financial status reports, and debt recovery.
The special features of our service are:
1. On receipt of instructions, a strategy is devised to ensure the investigation is carried out in such a way as to maximise resources and obtain for the client the most effective result.
2. We gather information in the field and also have stringent procedures to corroborate information received. All documentation is subject to vigorous analysis and verification.
3. We have in-house computer databases and in-house legal experience which leaves us ideally placed to interpret the significance of information obtained.
4. We have a unique methodology which we apply to suspected contrived accidents and we have developed our own database/intelligence (LYNX) system to assist.
5. All our field agents are ex-police or specialists who have been trained to investigate insurance matters. Such training is an ongoing exercise.
6. We have extremely high professional standards enforced by our own best practice policy and quality control system.
